The Reda archival collection of film and video is a unique, heirloom quality collection of original footage in pristine condition. The collection consists of thousands of hours of film and video encompassing an extensive range of topics from the turn of the century to current events. The archival library includes military footage, biographies, news reels, life style and interviews; mixed subject video, mixed subject film, old time radio, and home movies. The Reda collection contains an extraordinary collection of military history with the largest color/ HD collection of WWII & Vietnam film, including all major battles and wars. The archives also includes an extensive array of special collections involving cooperative ventures with various museums and private collectors resulting in the ongoing acquisition of never before seen footage.
The film and video collection has been transferred to the highest quality of digital format resolution or digital tape and has been the subject of cataloging and refinement. Reda has spent decades utilizing the highest standards of the industry in the indexing and cataloging of the collection for easy accessibility, involving research and retrieval. The contents of the archival library has been extensively utilized by film producers in the United States and internationally. The Reda archival library is headquartered in a historical church at the Reda building in Easton, Pennsylvania.
